Matt brings a diverse background of political experience to PPA. Drawing on his campaign background, Matt has a unique understanding of the strategic influences on public policy surrounding Capitol Square. He is able to provide PPA clients with in-depth analysis on legislative and political matters. He specializes in designing and executing grassroots campaigns to affect public policy both at the Statehouse and the ballot box.
Matt served as Campaign Manager for successful candidates Ed FitzGerald (Cuyahoga County Executive) in 2010 and Mark Schneider (Ohio House of Representatives) in 2008. He also served on the successful 2006 campaign for Governor Ted Strickland. Matt also worked as a lobbyist for the Ohio Hotel & Lodging Association prior to joining PPA in 2009.
