HB 57 LONG-TERM CARE FACILITIES/SEX OFFENDER NOTIFICATION - To amend sections 2950.01, 2950.11, 2950.12, and 2950.13 of the Revised Code to provide notice to a long-term care facility and its residents when a registered sex offender indicates an intent to reside or registers an address within the facility's specified geographical notification area. Pending in the House Criminal Justice Committee. A substitute bill was adopted during a hearing on April 3, 2008. Sixth hearing April 10, 2008.

HB 52 RAW MILK LAWS - To amend sections 917.01, 917.02, 917.03, 917.032, 917.04, and 917.05 and to enact section 917.25 of the Revised Code to revise the statutes governing raw milk. Pending in the House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee. First hearing April 18, 2007.

HB 39 PHARMACIES, MANUFACTURERS OF DANGEROUS DRUGS - To amend section 3715.99 and to enact sections 3715.88, 3715.89, and 3715.90 of the Revised Code to require manufacturers and labelers of dangerous drugs to disclose to the Director of Health the value, nature, and purpose of certain gifts, fees, payments, subsidies, and other economic benefits they provide in connection with pharmaceutical detailing, marketing, or promotion. Pending in the House Health Committee. First hearing March 7, 2007.

HB 25 ORGAN DONATION TAX DEDUCTION -To amend sections 5747.01, 5747.08, and 5747.98 and to enact section 5747.81 of the Revised Code to create an income tax deduction for expenses incurred by a taxpayer in making an organ donation and to create an income tax credit for deceased organ donors. Pending in the House House Ways & Means Committee. First hearing February 28, 2007.

*HB24 MUNI TAX/HEALTH CARE DEDUCTIONS FOR HEALTH CARE SAVINGS ACCOUNTS - To amend sections 718.01, 718.02, and 4763.16 of the Revised Code to authorize municipalities to allow self-employed taxpayers to take a municipal income tax deduction for amounts paid for medical care insurance, to authorize municipalities to allow individuals to deduct amounts paid into health savings accounts, to limit the entities that may apply for Real Estate Appraiser Recovery Fund payments, to allow certain property owners whose property is located in certain conservancy districts to have the Supreme Court review denials of their exceptions to an assessment, to establish a moratorium on the levying and collection of assessments by certain conservancy districts, to provide for the extension of the enhanced motor vehicle inspection and maintenance program, and to declare an emergency. HB 6 INCREASE POVERTY THRESHOLD/CHILDREN'S HEALTH INSURANCE - To amend section 5101.51 of the Revised Code to increase the income eligibility limit for the Children's Health Insurance Program Part II to three hundred per cent of the federal poverty guidelines.
